Hi! My name is Jenessa, yes I am introducing myself to you 2nd! I didn’t want to lose you at hello :)!! Lol, gotta have a sense of humor to stay sane in Life, right? Well, you’ve stumbled across this path for a reason and I am so glad you are reading my thoughts put on paper. I am excited to announce my new journey with you in this newfound movement practice!
In this work, I have found that intentional pilates breath work helps with anxiety and everyday stress. As my teacher always said “ if you have a tight spine then you have a tight mind” Ha ha!
I used to be a person with an exuberant amount of anxiety and knotted-up energy in my neck and spine, though through this work not only did I learn to settle my nervous system through breath and healthy movement, but I also gained confidence in my posture through this method of work. Before Pilates, I had become stagnant in my daily life due to working in an office and life taking over, as sometimes it can. The beautiful thing about it is you will always have pilates to turn to. It’s everything from mental health, breathwork, Centering, concentration, control, flow, and precision.
